EA has recently launched the new Official Website for Tiberium! The site features a very neat flash interface, screenshots, game information, and much more!

On a trial basis we are going to be running a POTD contest here at Total Tiberium. On Sunday evenings a Tiberium related POTD will be posted without a caption on the Home page. It will be your job to post funny or comical captions. On Thursday night one of your user submitted captions will be selected. That POTD will then be posted the following Friday in the POTD section with your caption and with you cited as the source.

The guys over at GameSpot scored an exclusive interview with the developers of Tiberium. They explain some of the reasoning behind building a FPS style game within the traditionally RTS C&C universe. They also showcase the modular primary weapon named the GD-10.

A new gameplay trailer for Tiberium has been released by the guys over at Game Trailers. This montage of action filled gameplay showcases a rocket launcher variant of the modular weapon as well as the accompanying squad from the first person perspective.

The folks from GameReplays have created a useful list of FAQ's for Tiberium. This would be very useful for those who are interested in the game but are not quite sure what it's about. Check it out:

What is Tiberium FPS?
Tiberium is an First Person Shooter (FPS) based on EA's Command and Conquer strategy games. It is set in the Tiberium universe and takes place 11 years after the conclusion of the Third Tiberium War.

When is Tiberium going to be released?
Currently Electronic Arts is hinting at a Q4 08 release, or an early Q1 2009 release, however nothing has been confirmed and the dates are still tentative.

Will there be a multiplayer aspect to the game as well?
Yes, but there are very few details on Tiberium's multiplayer thus far. What we do know is that there will be about 8 players per map, each controlling roughly 3 squads. Winning and losing is dictated by control of Tiberium Spikes which allow you to land more reinforcements.

What kind of squads are there?
So far we know that each faction has different types of squads that fall under the general category's of Armor, Air, Rifle Infantry, and Rocket Infantry.

Are you excited about the release of Tiberium and wish to volunteer some of your extra time to making this site the best Tiberium site out there? If so, we're interested in hearing from you.

We are in need of one to two dedicated staff members to help run the site. The duties of the staff members will be to post news, potd, write articles (previews, reviews, interviews), create site content, and upload files (staff do get premium accounts for TGF). Here are the basic requirements we have for staff:

• A minimum of one hour per day
• Ability to meet set deadlines for projects
• Ability to work well in a team and follow direction
